The Power of One Changes History

Change catalysts

All of us have something we have been blessed with to contribute to this world. When we use our gifts, we find personal fulfillment. Our life takes on greater meaning and we naturally experience our value and place in the universe.

Lasting Imprint, session 8

This episode of Lasting Imprint looks at the difference one person can make. The Unificationist perspective is unique. It understands that God doesn’t just want to forgive people, although grace is undeniably important. God wants to find people who can realize the original quality, value and virtue of humanity. For this reason, all religions search for messianic figures.

History is witness to the power of one and the impact of key individuals who have been catalysts of positive social and spiritual transformation. It takes the right person, with the right character, at the right time, to turn everything upside down and show what can be.

Watch this week’s episode to discover more about the role such individuals have played as God and humanity pursue their dreams.

A Catalyst for Change

“I can see a great change, a great new surge of revolution coming to America-not by fire, not by bullets, but by God’s truth kindling a revolution of men’s hearts. I have come here to ignite this spiritual revolution. I don’t need to demonstrate in front of the White House or in Lafayette Square. The answer does not lie there, but in the hearts of men, in the quiet revolution from selfishness to unselfishness.” – Sun Myung Moon

“In addition to His intellect, emotion, and will, God has His own hopes, circumstances and heart. What are God’s hopes, circumstances and heart? We need to know these fundamentals before considering humankind’s situation. Armed with this knowledge, you will naturally and immediately understand people’s original desire. Why? Because humankind’s purpose is God’s, and God’s purpose is humankind’s. Those who understand people’s circumstances, hopes, and heart can also understand God’s.” -Sun Myung Moon

“Your words and deeds must register in the memory of God. I want you to do something God can remember.” – Sun Myung Moon
